SUMMARY:Community Missions Hog Roast & Festival
DESCRIPTION:To help support Christian organizations in our community\, Cornerstone invites you to an upcoming Missions Hog Roast & Festival on Saturday\, October 5th\, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Sharon Mennonite Church in Plain City! This is “[a] fun event for the whole family\,” and “[a]dmission is free!” \nThroughout the day\, there will a hog roast (dine-in or take-out\, served until gone)\, a silent auction\, a Cornhole tournament (with check-in starting at 2:30pm and a registration fee of $20 per individual or $40 per team\, sign up at www.dnaplaincity.org/missionsfestival)\, food trucks (from Miller’s Olde Fashioned Ice Cream and Der Dutchman)\, a Kid Zone (with a bounce house\, a petting zoo\, face painting\, and more)\, and a live auction (starting at 5:00pm). \nAll proceeds from this event will go to support She Dreams Again\, Let Love Farms\, Daily Needs Assistance (DNA)\, and Lifewise Academy\, all charitable\, faith-based groups operating in the Plain City area! \nFinally\, if you are interested in volunteering at this event\, or with one of the Christian organizations associated with it\, please visit the event website for more information (again\, that website is www.dnaplaincity.org/missionsfestival).
