Cornerstone Kids Ministry
Who we are
Cornerstone Kids Ministry, for toddlers through middle school (~ages 2-12)
What we believe
3 John 1:4 is our motto – “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
Where and when we meet
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am in the downstairs of the church.
We believe Sundays should be FUN days! In Cornerstone Kids your child will enjoy an engaging environment where they will learn Biblical truths on their level through engaging conversations, crafts, and intentional relationships with their peers.
Sundays are only one day, and we value the importance of parents and the role that they play in their children’s lives the other days during the week. We want to set the family up for success. Our Cornerstone Kids Ministry goals (shown below) align with this belief.
1
Pastor Children
By building a community that:
- Shepherds children to personally experience God’s love to the fullest.
- Develops children who will follow, worship, and share Christ in all their relationships.
- Encourages children to fulfill God’s plan for them with creativity and joy.
2
Support Parents
By building a community that:
- Affirms and strengthen them in their role as the primary spiritual leaders in the home.
- Provides Biblical guidance for parental leadership.
3
Equip Children’s Leaders and Volunteers
By building a community that:
- Provides biblical and practical training for CC Volunteers.
- Encourages CC Volunteers in their spiritual life and in their ministry to children.
4
Extend the Ministry
By building a team that:
- Develops and carries out goals, policies and budget to achieve the ministry mission and purpose.
- Promotes the children’s ministry vision to the community
- Evaluates, implements and maintains ministry tools and staffing.
How We Keep Your Children Safe
Each Sunday, staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and meaningful experience for your children. Here are a few things you need to know to help us make their time great!
- Doors open to the classrooms downstairs 15 minutes before adult service begins. After adult service starts, adults (other than staff and volunteers and, in special cases, parents/guardians) are asked to remain upstairs.
- It is important to inform us of any allergies or health concerns your children have.
- To keep our environment safe and disruption-free, we re-open our doors for pick-up when the adult service concludes.
- For the protection of all our children, please do not bring your child to the Cornerstone Kids’ area if they exhibit any of the following: fever in the last 24 hours, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours, common cold (onset through 1 week), any unexplained rash, cloudy or green runny nose, pink eye or any other communicable infection, persistent cough, or major symptoms of any other communicable disease.
